This week, you begin submitting materials for your Scholar-Practitioner Project (SPP). Your SPP is a proposal to develop an evidence-based public health program. You start by defining the goals and the objectives for your program. For this Assignment, review the media on creating goals and objectives for public health programs.
Your work needs to be supported by the Learning Resources and current literature. Please remember to cite your own work when referencing your SPPs from PUBH 8450 and PUBH 8440.
Some of the information you submit this week may change as the quarter progresses; therefore, for your final SPP project (due in Week 11), it is important that you incorporate Instructor feedback.
Keep in mind that as you are developing your goals and objectives, as referenced in the Scholar-Practitioner Project Guidelines (located in the Week 1 Learning Resources area) you have been given a budget and timeline to use.
As a reminder:
The SPP is a proposal for a public health program running on a 3-year grant with an annual budget of $300,000. Based upon these parameters, the SPP includes details of how you would develop this program, including the details of the budget and timeline.
For this Assignment, reflect on the type of public health program you are planning. Review SMART guidelines that are related to framing objectives to be used with goals.
