Effective communications

The last answer that I received was not correct.  It did not compare two annual reports.  Please read the instruction carefully.  This should probably be around 500 words, altough there is no specified word count.

We have learned that effectiveness in communication is essential in every aspect of the business world.  This assignment will focus on effectively communicating the financial position of the company. 

Locate two annual reports on the Internet.  A good source is Report Watch . Compare the style of the two reports.  Answer these questions about each article:

1.  How do they use visuals to keep attention?

2.  What differences do you see in the letters from the CEOs?

3.  How do they present number-heavy information? Do they rely mainly on tables and graphs? Do they give prose summaries?

4.  Is the writing easy to understand?

5. Do you see places where negative information is given a positive spin?

6.  Is one report easier to understand than the other? Why?

7.  Is one report more interesting than the other? Why?

8.  Is one report more convincing than the other? Why?

While this is not a formal paper, I do expect your answers to be grammatically correct.  While your opinions should be part of this response, you also need to incorporate information from the reading as well as outside sources.  You should have a minimum of 2 sources (including the text), please remember to put your sources in proper APA format using both in-text citations as well as a reference page at the end.

 While there is no minimum page requirement, I expect your answers to be thorough and well written.  Please do not just list the question and then list the response.  I would like to see the questions incorporated within your answers in a well written short essay.  Refer to the following rubric:
